XAT 2017 will be conducted on January 8, 2017 Sunday. XLRI has 180 seats each in its Business Management & Human Resource Management (erstwhile PMIR) programs, 20 seats in its two-year Global Business Management, and 180 seats in the one-year General Management Program (popularly known as GMP). With only 5 days left for the exam, here is a reminder for the important things for the XAT 2017 exam.
Aspirants will need to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without the admit card the applicants will not be given the entry to the examination hall. For downloading the admit card for XAT 2017, aspirants need to follow certain steps such as entering the XAT registration number number, date of birth, security text, and enter the security text. After they will need to click on login and submit the details. Aspirants will also need to take the print out of the admit card.
It is important for the aspirants to reach the exam centre well in advance to avoid last minute panic. The aspirants should be familiar with the direction to the venue. Another important point for the aspirants is to remain calm and composed for the exam while appearing for the exam.
It is absolutely mandatory for the aspirants to read the question papers carefully so that their is no misunderstanding. Sometimes in a hurry the aspirants do not read the questions completely which results in them losing marks.
XAT 2017 will have four sections Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and General Knowledge. The marks of General Knowledge will not be used for determining the percentile and cut off at first stage of selection. The results of XAT 2017 will be declared by January 31, 2017.
