Actress Sunny Leone surprised fellow Indians with her singing of the Indian national anthem Jan Gan Man at the Pro Kabaddi League 2016 match in Mumbai recently. But it seems her version of the national anthem didn’t go down well with some deshwaasis. Reports came in this evening that a complaint has been filed against the US-based Indian actress for not singing the national anthem properly.
Sunny sang the national anthem with a bit of an accent, but we think that’s understandable, as she has stayed in the US and Canada most of her life. But a police complaint has been filed by someone and the photo of the document went viral on social messaging site WhatsApp. Take a look at it!
The Beiimaan Love actress said about singing the national anthem at the Pro Kabaddi League match, “It’s a proud moment for me. I had never ever desired or thought that I would get to sing the national anthem. I feel blessed and honored. I was very nervous.”
