Indian Test cricket has a new shining star. Karun Nair, the Karnataka boy has slammed a triple century against England as bowlers just looked hopelessly lost as to how to dismiss him. Thanks to Karun’s brilliant innings, India has put on the board a massive 759/7 with one day’s play remaining.
For cricket fans, it was heartbreak to see KL Rahul get dismissed for 199, but as fate would have it fans got to see an amazing triple century from the young Karun Nair. With this astounding innings, Karun joins the ranks of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Sehwag, R Dravid, S. Ganguly and others.
With one more day of play remaining England is now on the back foot trying to survive a full day’s bowling and it will be interesting how they handle the spinners who demolished them during the last test match.
