Akshay Kumar Donates 9 Lakhs To A Martyred BSF Jawan’s Family, Shows Humanity Isn’t Dead.

Bollywood is wrapped up in too many political controversies right now. Many celebrities lauded what our Army did after the Uri attacks, but very few actually took some action. Akshay Kumar’s love for the country and respect for the Army has been apparent with his movies and actions. Here is another good deed in the name of the good man.

Akshay Kumar has donated 9 lakh Rupees to the family of BSF Jawan Gurnam Singh who succumbed to death, after braving Pakistani snipers during a major infiltration bid in J&K. He was just 26 years old.

This isn’t the first time he has donated to the Army. He had given 80 lakhs for the betterment of the soldiers in August 2016. His father being a Military Officer, it probably compels him to take some action to support the soldiers, albeit monetarily.

He has also donated 50 lakhs to drought-stricken farmers in Maharashtra in the past, joining Nana Patekar in the movement to help the helpless families.
