JoSAA JEE Mains 2016: First Round Seat Allotment declared

JOSAA First Round Seat Allotment 2016 for JEE Mains: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the First Round Seat Allotment of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains exam candidates on June 30, 2016.

The JEE Mains First Round Seat Allotment has been declared on the official website of the JoSAA, www.josaa.nic.in.

The seat allotment was released prior to the scheduled time of 2 pm on website today so as to handle the extra rush of students.

According to the official website, if the candidate is offered a seat, he is she is required to download the Seat Allotment Letter which will be available on the website itself.Candidates should note that the First Round reporting for Seat Acceptance will begin from tomorrow, July 1, and will end on July 5, 2016.

Steps to check the JoSAA JEE Main First Round Seat Allotment 2016:

Log on to the official website of the JoSAA, www.josaa.nic.in

On the home page, click on the link for the ‘Seat Allotment Result: Round 1’, or go to this direct link
You will be redirected to new page where you will be required to enter your JEE Mains 2016 roll number and password.

Your seat allotment will declared when you click on ‘Login’ or press ‘Enter’

Save a copy to your computer and take a print for future reference

 

Procedure to accept the JOSAA First Round Seat Allotment 2016 for JEE Mains:

1. Pay seat acceptance fee through E-Challan or Net Banking option through SBI

2. Download Seat Allotment Letter

3. Report to your respective reporting centre (RC) with these documents between July 1 – July 5, 2016, 10 am to 5 pm

First round reporting of Seat Acceptance: July 1, 2016 – July 5, 2016, 10 am to 5 pm.

First round of seat allotment: June 30, 2016, 2 pm

Last date of choice filling: June 29, 2016 (till 12 noon)

Start of choice filling: June 24, 2016

Release of JEE Mains rank list 2016: June 23, 2016
