Baba Ramdev stole the show in a Bollywood vs Politicians charity football match. Here is the proof!

On Sunday evening Delhi witnessed a one of a kind football match. Country’s parliamentarians were up against a team comprising of Bollywood stars at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for a charity match. The game of football was organised by Adhunik Art Gallery, supervised by Bollywood actor Priyanka Kothari better known as Nisha Kothari.

The match was kicked off by famous Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev. And right from the start till the end, Baba Ramdev stole the show. Enthusiastic Baba Ramdev was seen running around in ‘trademark’ saffron colour dhoti; he also donned shoes of the same colour. Bleed Saffron, you see!

The idea behind the match was to raise funds for Prime Minster Narendra Modi’s two pet projects- Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Andolan and Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.

Babul Supriyo, who is the Minister of State for Heavy Industries, led the Parliamentarians team. The side also featured the likes of Manoj Tiwari, Prasun Banerjee, Parvesh Verma, Kamlesh Paswan, Satish Gautam, Bhola Singh, Dushyant Chautala and Ram Mohan Naidu.

The Bollywood team named All Stars Football Club was captained by Abhishek Bachchan. Stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Dino Morea, Sidharth Malhotra and Shabbir Ahluwalia were also in attendance.
