Shocking! man 'buried alive and left for dead' in the GRAVE!

It’s the stuff of nightmares; the mere thought will send shivers down your spine.

A man in Brazil has been attacked and thrown into a tombstone in a cemetery, to be buried alive.
Fortunately for the victim, people who were visiting a nearby grave noticed bloodstains on the casket.

Suspecting it may have been tampered with, they alerted the authorities who are now investigating the attempted murder.

The long-haired man was pulled from what could have been his grave.

Reportedly, he was severely injured after he had been thrown into the tomb that was then sealed shut.
Cemetery staff thought the tampered-with casket may have been an act of vandalism, until they saw what was inside.

Footage has emerged of the astonishing event that happened in Caju Cemetery in Campos dos Goytacezes, near Rio de Janeiro.

Firemen removed the heavy tombstone, to find a 33-year-old man inside whose name is yet to be released.

He was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital to be treated.

It is alleged he is local to the area.

Police are continuing investigations.
