Ramiz Raja And Mohammad Yousuf Abuse Each Other On Pakistani TV Debate

Okay, if you're oblivious to what cricket is, you are surely going to enjoy this TV debate that recently took place in Pakistan. However, if you have any love for the game and its betterment, you are bound to condone the plight of cricket in the country and its controversial recent history.

It took legendary Pakistan batsman Mohammad Yousuf and cricket expert and popular TV commentator Ramiz Raja to kickstart a debate on Geo Super channel that soon went into an unstoppable barrage of personal verbal attacks.

The offensive exchange of words took place over the return of Mohammad Aamir to cricket after serving a cricket ban for being involved in spot-fixing. Yousuf claimed Ramiz didn't know cricket, was a "Sifarashi" player and good only to be a teacher. The classical batsman went a step further when he made some personal remarks against the former Test captain turned commentator who lost his cool on air.

That drew a sharp response from Ramiz who termed Yousuf, who sports a beard, as a 'fake Mullah' who tells lies and who caused havoc in Pakistan cricket. Watch the debate below...

Pakistan's former Test captain Rashid Latif slammed the issue saying the offensive debate should never have happened. "I have played with both these players. They are looked upon with respect by the fans. It does not pass on the right message to anyone," Latif said.

Earlier, two of Pakistan's senior players Muhammad Hafeez and ODI captain Azhar Ali both refused to train with Aamir in the national training camp in Lahore but later agreed to return on the intervention of the PCB chief Shaharyar Khan.
