UPTET Admit Card 2017 released at upbasiceduboard.gov.in: Steps to download

 

The Uttar Pradesh basic education department has released the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2017 admit cards on the official website, the link for which is upbasiceduboard.gov.in


The UPTET 2017 will be conducted on October 15 across 75 districts in the state.

Steps to download UPTET 2017 admit cards:

• Go to official website, upbasiceduboard.gov.in
• Click on 'UPTET- 2017'
• A new window would open
• Enter your registration number and date of birth in the given space
• Admit cards will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take print out of the same for future use.

Number of candidates:

As reported by Times Now, a total of 9,76,760 candidates have applied for the examination.

Exam timings:

Paper I or upper primary: From 10:30 am to 12:30 pm

Paper II or primary paper: 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Shiksha mitras to appear for TET:

This year, shiksha mitras (ad hoc teachers) who have been demanding permanent jobs will also be appearing for Teachers Eligibility Test (TET).

Extra marks for shiksha mitras:

Also, shiksha mitras will be given an additional 2.5 marks for each year of their experience -- with 25 marks being the maximum one could get -- when they sit for assistant teachers' recruitment examinations, after qualifying TET, as reported by Indian Express.

About UPTET:

Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from classes 1 to 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 is for those opting for classes 6 to 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India.
