The Star Sports network will telecast the whole league first time ever as they bagged the media rights at ₹16,347.5 crore for the next five years. This is the biggest money spinning cricket event for ever. BCCI will earn around this huge sum in just 5 years. Earlier the Sony TV Network had rights to telecast this T20 league. Star has also won the consolidated bid and we can expect HOTSTAR to telecast all IPL Matches on its app.
