This girl got lost in Delhi at midnight and a man approached her… what happens next will change your perception!

Not every man is a rapist, is something which needs to be heard aloud clearly in these times when men are at the edge of being remembered as insensitive gender. There are many who will and are doing whatever it takes to make this world a better place for all.
Humans of Bombay, a facebook page which shares personal narratives of people living in the city shared a moving story which compels to change what exactly is wrong. All men being judged from same lens of being insensitive and hurtful gender has taken over the thought process of not only of girls but every individual.

This girl who was stranded during the late hours in Delhi. She has heard stories of rapes and all those monstrous acts which has happened over the past years, making Delhi get its bad name of ‘Rape capital’  and that is why she is terrified and horribly scared if she gets encountered by any of those men who doesn’t understand what ‘NO’ means. But this one man changed her perceptions for life and may be it all happened for this day when her story will change perceptions of others.

In her story she tells Humans of Bombay what happened on the day when she needed help the most  it came not from the 6 women who I thought would help me out, but the 1 man who approached me. Not all men are like the ones you read in the papers…so stop believing it.”

Fight against rape and discrimination is not alone of women, but men also. Keeping men away from this fight and thinking that they don’t care will making them a forgotten gender. Not every men is same.
