1. Stop Looking For Motivation. Stand In Front Of A Mirror, Naked. That Should Be Your Motivation

There will be a time when videos, pictures and transformation stories will no more seem motivating. Don’t make these your source of motivation. The motivation lies in you. Let ‘how your body looks’ guide you. Look at your naked self every day and make a promise to yourself that you will change. You will never fall short on motivation. 

2. Never Skip Your Workout. It Should Be The Only Religion You Should Be Fanatic About

Just like Rome wasn’t built in a day, your body won’t change overnight. You need to work out hard and workout every day. There’s no alternative to ‘consistent’ hard work. No matter how busy you are or how long a day you have had, you HAVE TO exercise. Make fitness your religion, the gym your temple and ignore everybody who tends to derail you from your religion.  

3. Make Time For Proper Nutrition. Try Finding Excuses To Not Eat Junk

Nobody gives a fu*k about what you eat but your body does. So, it’s about time that you need to eat right. Eating clean should be your priority. If you don’t have time to watch what you eat, make time. Screw excuses. What goes in your mouth will reflect on the outside. So if you are heavy on junk food, we’ll know what you will look like.

4. Consult A Trainer. What Your ‘Bro’ Told You About Weight Loss Is Probably Crap

Pretty sure, bro science will not make you lose weight but it certainly will make you lose muscle. Please understand that every one’s body is different and reacts differently to workouts and diet regimes. Don’t be a fat oversmart ass and think you got this! Be wise, consult a trainer, get a programme designed and follow it. 

5. Stop Doing Steady State Cardio. Lift Weights And Do HIIT

Running or cycling like your life depends on it will make you lose joint health, lean muscle mass and elevate your stress hormone (cortisol) levels. Of course, a bit of weight too, but it will eventually be back. HIIT, coupled with weight training, is the silver bullet for fat loss and muscle retention. You will drop weight, keep it off for longer and, most importantly, become stronger along the way. You want to look like a marathoner or a sprinter? Decide for yourself
