In India We All Are Very Careless About What We Consume and really cares what companies sell.We Trust Some Certain Brands With Closed Eyes and Never Try To Know Truth Of Their Products. You All Might Be Think What Foolishness I am Talking About, But you’ll be shocked that there are things that are banned in other countries whereas not in India. Yes, you heard us right. . Have a look Over These 5 Banned Products Around The World as the list rolls down:
1) Honey
What we consider good for our skin and overall health is considered unfit by all other countries except ours. The reason to this is that in 2010 a story was published by The Hindu which stated that the branded honey sold in the country was contaminated.
When examined by Centre for Science and Environment it was found that branded honey products in India including those made by Dabur, Patanjali, Himalya and Khadi had high levels of six harmful antibiotics in 11 samples. So setting an example of double standards, most Indian companies dump the contaminated honey on the domestic market in the country, since there are no regulations here.
2) Medicines like Novalgin, D-Cold, Enteroquinal, Furoxone and others
India has an unaffected trade of medicines going on and this also includes a long list of medicines banned outside India like Novalgin, D-Cold, Enteroquinal, Furoxone and Lomofen (anti-diarrheal), Nimulid, Analgin (pain killer), Ciza and Syspride, (acidity and constipation), Nimesulide (painkiller) and Buclizine (appetite stimulant).
3) Maruti-Suzuki Alto 800
Being one of the India’s best-selling cars, Maruti-Suzuki Alto 800 failed the independent crash test conducted by Global NCAP. The structure of this car proved to be inadequate and collapsed to varying degrees, resulting in high risks of life-threatening injuries to the occupants. Cars like Tata Nano and Hyundai i10 also add to the list of being banned outside India but still these cars are being highly sold in India.
4) Pesticides
Pesticides like Carbaryl, Malathion, Acephate, Dimethoate, Chlorpyrifos, Lindane, Quinalphos, Phosphomidon, Carbandizm, Captan, Tridamorph, Practilachlor, 2.4–D and Glyphosate are being used extensively in India despite of their restriction by the expert committees set up by the Central government. These add to the 67 pesticides which are banned in many international markets but still being used in India.
5) Kinder Surprise
Kinder Surprise is banned in the US and not Kinder Joy. If you try taking one of these into the US you could be fined up to $2,500 per illegal kinder egg. The embedded toy within the candy is deemed a choking risk for small children.
Early realisation is the best realisation peeps. We need to realise that whatever makes us compromise with our well-being, should be avoided. So, after reading this you need to make a wise choice thinking what you need and what you want.
