LasVegas Shooting Live Update: Watch Video Of Today's Shooting In Las Vegas, MandalayBay concert

Las Vegas police are investigating reports of an “active shooter” in the world famous Strip, which is popular with tourists from across the world.

Las Vegas shooting video shows the chilling moment shots rung out across a crowd as the suspected gunman reportedly opens fire.

While musicians play on the stage a loud repeated noise, which could be several gunshots, can be heard over the sound of the music.

Seemingly confused by the goings-on, the band continues to play on before they stop and the crowd appears to panic.

An eyewitness, who was at the Mandalay Bay concert with a friend, said Jason Aldean stopped in the middle of his performance and was rushed off stage.

Ivette Saldana said: “It was a horror show. People were standing around, then they hit the floor.”

Ms Saldana said she fled the scene and hid in a sewer.

Another witness told Sky News: A lot of us have been saying this has been a long time coming and look at us now.

“A lot of people have been shot, it’s horrible, disgusting – makes me sick.”

As the music at the Route 91 festival stops, the crowd begins to clear the area in panic as the Las Vegas shooting video shows the events unfold.

One eye witness said the hotel was on lockdown, while another claimed there was possibly two gunmen on the 32nd floor of the hotel, who they claim had shot at a bodyguard and police.

According to ABC7, hospitals are reported to be treating multiple victims.

Witnesses claim they have seen at least one officer possibly injured in the incident.

Officials have said “multiple” casualties have been rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds after the attack, which began at around 11pm local time.

University Medical Center spokeswoman Danita Cohen said the Las Vegas hospital is taking in “several” people with gunshot wounds.

Hospital officials have confirmed two people had been killed in the attack and said at least 24 more were being treated for gunshot wounds.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department warned people to avoid the south end of the Strip.

Officers said Las Vegas Boulevard is shut down at Tropicana, southbound past Russell Road.

A spokesman for Las Vegas Police confirmed “one suspect is down” as they continue to operate around the scene.

Some flights into the city’s McCarran International Airport have been diverted due to the incident.
