Shah Rukh Clicked A Selfie With The Crowd And Now Everyone’s Obsessing Over The Girl Who’s Seen In It!

Every once in a while the internet is won over by a commoner’s innocent appearance in the right place at the right time. Remember the Pakistani ‘chai wala’ who went on to become fashion’s most coveted face?



Something similar happened to this girl who shot to fame when she simply happened to be present in a selfie clicked by everyone’s favorite, Shah Rukh Khan.

Shah Rukh was recently at the Symbiosis institute of Design, Pune to promote his movie ‘Raees’. After all the fun and frolicking the megastar clicked a picture with the crowd and posted it on his social media page. 


It wasn’t until the selfie went viral that everyone realized the real reason wasn’t Shah Rukh or Raees but the girl in the olive green t-shirt who managed to become internet’s newest sensation!

The girl has been recognized as a Saima Hussain, a 21-year-old, third year student studying at the symbiosis institute. Saima, who is originally from Srinagar, is still reeling from all the sudden attention she’s been getting.

Her best friend was the one who originally informed her about the viral post, “I thought she was joking at first but then I started getting calls and messages from everyone. The moment I checked for myself, it felt so surreal.”

“I didn’t expect to be in the front row because of the insane number of people present. My friend helped me get through the crowd and I was lucky that the heads for the fest were allowed to stand in the front row.”

I’m sure her inbox must be full of messages from everyone smitten by her! “I never saw this coming. I’m still pretty overwhelmed to be honest” she said while trying to deal with all the sudden showering of fame.
