After Underworld, RGV's Next Film Is A World War 3 Drama With A Whopping Budget Of Rs 340 Cr!

Ram Gopal Varma never ceases to shock us. Most of the times it’s with his nasty tweets, but on other occasions, it’s with his bizarre movie announcements.

Sarkar 3

While we were still coping up with his Arvind Kejriwal inspired character in Sarkar 3, he made the most unexpected announcement ever. The director who has a lot of gems like SatyaRangeela and Company to his credit, is soon going to direct a World War 3 drama. Yes, you read that right.

This is not a speculation or a rumour because he himself took to twitter to announce this project. Unfortunately, the filmmaker’s movie graph has taken an adverse dip over the years. So much so, that his last 10 films have badly tanked at the Box Office.

What’s a little weird is the fact that instead of wrapping up his current project first, RGV is investing time in talking about this upcoming project of his.

Interestingly, this World War 3 film is called Nuclear and it is his first international project.

Talking about the same he wrote, "My first international film to be made at a cost of 340 crore is NUCLEAR." He further added that the film will be shot in America, China, Russia, Yemen and India with American, Chinese, Russian and Indian actors."

After experimenting with politics, he is now keen on working on the global evil that is terrorism.

In a note, RGV said, "I have been an avid and voracious reader of both fiction and non-fiction but never in my life until now, have I come across a subject matter like NUCLEAR. Yes it's going to be much more costlier than the most expensive film ever made in India and the reason for that is because the subject matter truly demands that it is filmed on a scale never before seen."

RGV further raised his concern about terrorism in his note.

"The only thing which can be more terrifying than that is, if that explosion happens now in our times. It is because of this fear that America acted against Iraq. If an act based on mere suspicion that someone could be in possession of a nuclear bomb bring in so much of hate and divide between the countries of the world resulting in regime collapses, friendly countries becoming sworn enemies, rise of ISIS etc., then it's obvious that an actual nuclear explosion in a big city like Mumbai can easily trigger WORLD WAR III and thus end the WORLD."
