Street beggar packs up for the day and drives home in Rs.48 lakh Audi TT sports car




Matthew Brinton, was videoed getting into the upmarket German motor in a car park.

Mr Brinton begs for cash in Bank Street, Newquay, Cornwall with his border collie, Hazel.

The 35-year-old has claimed that the car was left to him by his nan and was stolen soon after the film appeared on social media.

More than 100 people have commended on the post, which has received over 30,660 views, saying they feel betrayed after giving food and money to Mr Brinton as they thought he was homeless.
The con man, who allegedly has a home in Newquay home, says he has received death threats. He added the revelations and subsequent abuse has pushed him towards contemplating suicide and he has not eaten for days.

Mr Brinton said: "I have not seen any of the social media posts because I do not have access to the internet but according to the police I've had lots of death threats.

"People are assuming too much and I'm getting a lot of abuse, which is pushing me to suicide.
"This has been going on for years.

"There is only so much someone can take."

Inspector Dave Meredith at Newquay police said: "He had a few threats, with people making stupid comments on social media.

"We've told him 'you need to be careful because of the video on Facebook; there's lots of ill-feeling and animosity because of it'."
