This Guy Was suspended for saving classmate from asthma attack!

A Texas teenager has been suspended from school for saving a classmate who was suffering from an asthma attack.

Anthony Ruelas refused to wait for the school nurse to reply to his teacher’s email after his friend struggled to breathe during class.

The girl was wheezing and told classmates of her ordeal, but the unidentified teacher ordered the class to stay seated as she emailed the school nurse.

But when the girl’s condition worsened and she collapsed to the floor, Ruelas, 15, refused to wait any longer, according to KCEN TV.

“F--k that, we ain’t got time to wait for no email from the nurse,” the teacher’s report quotes him as saying, before he carried the girl to the nurse for treatment.

After defying the teacher’s orders, officials at Gateway Middle School in Killeen then took the decision to suspend Ruelas for two days.

“I was like what? I’m suspended for this? Like, I was trying to help her,” said a shocked Ruelas.
Mandy Cortes, Ruelas’ mother, said she was disappointed her son had been punished for his behavior.
“For them to not be rewarded for really something that is brave, you know, he is a hero to me,” she said.

Ruelas said he had no regrets about what he had done, and insisted he would "most definitely" do it again.

“He may not follow instructions all the time, but he does have a great heart.”

Ruelas, who has been disciplined by school officials in the past, had no regrets and said he would “most definitely” take the same action again.

John Craft, superintendent of the Killeen Independent School District, said in a statement that he could not discuss the suspension.
